Everyday on the CitizenTube Channel (and @CitizenTube on Twitter), along with our curation partners @storyful, we look at how the top news stories are covered on YouTube. Every week we'll post a weekly recap of the top news stories of the week:
- We witnessed horrific scenes after a triple-bombing terrorist attack in Mumbai, India.
- We saw Afghan President Hamid Karzai mourn the assassination of his prominent half-brother, Ahmed Wali Karzai.
- We learned Rick Santorum plays Angry Birds and Newt Gingrich hangs out on Google+ this week on the US campaign trail.
- We watched an amazing come-from-behind victory of the US women's soccer team over Brazil in the Women's World Cup quarter-finals, propelling them to later move on to the finals.
- We saluted Sgt. Scott Moore for his creative invitation from Afghanistan to actress Mila Kunis to attend the Marine Corps Ball. And we loved the follow-up invitation to Kunis' movie co-star Justin Timberlake from Corporal Kelsey De Santis at Marine Corps Base Quantico.
- And finally, we cheered along with colorful fans for the London premiere of the final Harry Potter movie.
