In an effort to raise awareness about immigration reform, Emily Guzman tells the poignant and troubling story of her husband, Pedro. Pedro is a Mexican citizen who spent 19 months in the Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) private detention facilities because he missed an immigration order that was sent to an incorrect address.

The Pay Pedro Back Campaign seeks support in gaining reimbursement for Pedro’s unjust detention and the painful struggle Emily and her son, Logan, endured while fighting for Pedros’ release.
