14-Year Old Launches Solo Sailing Voyage

Fourteen-year old sailor Laura Dekker left her home in the Netherlands today in an attempt to become the youngest person to sail solo around the world. As the BBC reports, Dekker, who was born on a yacht, plans to spend the next two years circumnavigating the world on her 26-foot boat, Guppy.
