Knoxville Police Altercation Caught on Video
A citizen reporter's video uploaded to YouTube appears to shows Knoxville police kneeing and throwing a bystander onto the ground. The man is seen at the beginning of the video on the left side of the frame, observing police. As he walks away, two police officers push him against a wall and throw him to the ground. The videographer says the man was punched by police and was bleeding from his head.

What you don’t know is these two men (that got caught) and a third man was harassing a woman inside the club. The three men were repeatedly asked by the woman and her friends to leave her and them alone. The woman and her friends left the club and the three perps followed them outside and continued to harass the woman. The “perps” were told again, outside, to leave them alone. A fight ensued, police officers arrived, two of the perps “ran”.
When the video is slowed down it appears the boy is fighting off the first police officer, therefore the second PO’s help is needed to restrain the perp. Whether the PO threw a knee to protect himself OR to help restrain the perp, it was well deserved. The kid was lucky he didn’t get shot with a stun gun. Knoxville police officers did their jobs…period.
