The UpTake

The UpTake was recently named Best Citizen-Based Media Outlet by City Pages Magazine – and with good reason. Made up of young citizen journalists stationed all throughout the country, The UpTake aims to advance democracy by providing on-the-scene political reporting that cuts through much of the mainstream media spin.
